Our Story
A letter from our founder.
ParkerJoe began with a mother's search — for clothing that was stylish, high quality, and truly unique, and for a place where shopping for boys felt just as exciting and intentional as shopping for anyone else. Here, in her own words, is how founder Chelsea Hostler built it.
A Letter From Our Founder
When I became a mom to my son, Parker, I quickly realized something that surprised me—shopping for boys was incredibly limited. I could walk into almost any children's store and find endless options for girls, but finding clothing for Parker that was stylish, high quality, and truly unique felt nearly impossible.
I wanted Parker to have clothes that reflected who he was. Pieces that were well made, timeless, and versatile enough for everything from everyday adventures to life's biggest milestones. I wanted a place where shopping for boys felt just as exciting and intentional as shopping for anyone else.
That search became the inspiration for ParkerJoe.
The name ParkerJoe carries my heart. Parker is my son and the reason this journey began. Joe was my dad, whose work ethic, kindness, and integrity continue to inspire everything I do. Together, their names represent the people who shaped this dream.
Every collection you'll find at ParkerJoe has been thoughtfully curated with quality, craftsmanship, and timeless style in mind. I travel to markets across the country to discover premium brands and unique pieces that families can't easily find elsewhere. My goal has always been to bring together the very best for boys—from newborn through size 18—all under one roof.
But ParkerJoe has always been about more than clothing.
I believe we're not just raising boys—we're raising future husbands, fathers, leaders, innovators, and gentlemen. The confidence they build today becomes the character they carry tomorrow. If ParkerJoe can play even a small role in helping a young boy feel confident, capable, and proud of who he is, then we've accomplished something far greater than simply getting him dressed.
More than anything, I wanted to create a place where boys are the priority. A place where they are celebrated, where families feel welcomed, and where every shopping experience is personal.
Our mission is simple: Dressing Future Icons.
Thank you for trusting ParkerJoe to be part of your family's story. It is a privilege to celebrate boyhood while helping shape the confidence of the men these boys will one day become.
With gratitude,
Chelsea Hostler

Three Generations
A family house, from the very start.
ParkerJoe was founded by two generations of the same family. Chelsea Hostler — Parker's mom — wrote the letter above; her mother and co-founder, Lisa Hostler, is Parker's grandmother and the boutique's other guiding eye, bringing a grandmother's perspective to everything the store carries. The name honors a third generation still: Joe, Chelsea's late father.
And coming soon for members of The Circle: Chelsea's Edit and Lisa's Edit — two personally curated collections, each refreshed monthly, each with its own point of view.
