Dear Santa

Dear Santa is a heartwarming hardcover picture book from Sourcebooks that speaks to the modern child's experience with authenticity and warmth. This 40-page Christmas classic explores an honest theme: a young protagonist navigates the pressure to present a perfect version of himself when writing his holiday letter to Santa. Rather than exaggerating his accomplishments like his classmates, he chooses vulnerability—acknowledging his imperfections and the genuine struggles of childhood. When Christmas morning arrives, a surprising letter from Santa rewards his honesty with a meaningful message about what truly matters during the season. Thoughtfully crafted for ages 4–7, this picture book transcends the typical holiday stocking stuffer by offering emotional resonance alongside festive cheer. It's an ideal gift for discerning parents and gift-givers seeking a refined, understated addition to a child's holiday collection—one that celebrates character over perfection and mirrors the values of families who appreciate authenticity in their seasonal traditions.
